Slow Cooker Honey Garlic Ribs

Ingredients

2 pounds pork ribs, cut into pieces

1/3 cup honey

1/4 cup soy sauce

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon brown sugar

1 tablespoon ketchup

1 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon paprika

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon cornstarch (optional, for thicker sauce)

2 tablespoons water

Instructions

Start by seasoning the ribs with salt, black pepper, and paprika.

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Lightly brown the ribs for about 3–4 minutes on each side to add extra flavor.

This step is optional but helps create a richer taste.

Place the browned ribs into the slow cooker

In a bowl, mix together the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, brown sugar, and ketchup. Stir well until the sauce is smooth.

Pour the sauce over the ribs, making sure they are well coated.

Cover the slow cooker and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours until the ribs are tender and the meat easily pulls away from the bone.

If you prefer a thicker sauce, mix the cornstarch with water and stir it into the sauce during the last 20 minutes of cooking.

Serve the ribs hot with rice, noodles, or roasted vegetables for a delicious and comforting meal.
