Lamps chops

 


 

Ingredients

•⁠ ⁠2 pounds of lamb chops

•⁠ ⁠1/2cup honey 

-Walkerswood Jerk Marinade

-Caribbean Jerk 30 Minute Marinade (optional)

•⁠ ⁠2 tablespoons olive oil

•⁠ ⁠2 tablespoons of garlic purée 

-1 tablespoon of puréed ginger 

-2 tablespoons of Cajun Seasoning (Tony’s or similar) 

-1 tablespoon of Garlic and Onion powder 

(You can use any of your favorite seasonings)

Instructions


1.⁠ ⁠Preheat the skillet on stovetop or use outdoor grill for best results. 

2.⁠ ⁠In a bowl add cleaned lamb chops , pour in jerk marinade then add in garlic, ginger and seasonings. 

3.⁠ ⁠Make sure each lamb chop is evenly coated with jerk marinade mixture. 

4.⁠ ⁠(Stove top instructions)Add olive oil to the preheated pan and sear the lamb chops for 3-4 minutes per side, or until cooked to your desired level of doneness. Drizzle honey over lamb chops and sear on each side an additional 1-2 minutes. 

(Grilling instructions)

Heat the grill to medium-high heat.Sear the lamb chops: Place the lamb chops on the grill and sear for about 4 minutes per side, or until a nice crust forms.

Finish cooking: After searing, move the lamb chops to a cooler part of the grill. Drizzle honey evenly over each lamb chop. Grill on each side and additional minute. Remove from grill, let rest a few minutes. 

5.⁠ ⁠Remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
